I have just completed 6 weeks at Physical Formula and could not recommend it more. I’ve seen such a huge difference in my strength but also my overall wellbeing. Olivia and Martin have created a really welcoming, cohesive and structured small group training environment. They are amazing coaches who take the time to check in during sessions, and you never need to think about what you are doing as you are told. Looking forward to staying at PF and seeing where it takes me. I never thought I’d look forward to a 6am HYROX session, but I do.

The best decision I have made was joining this gym. What I thought might be something I join for a few months to kickstart getting back into the gym has ended up with me still being here 3 years later. Small Group PT FAQs.

Everything most people want to know before they walk through the door.

No. The whole point is meeting you where you are. Programming is scaled to current fitness, current movement, current confidence, and built up from there. Most members start with no gym experience at all.
Maximum eight per session. That's the line we hold, small enough that every member gets coached on every lift, large enough that the room has energy. It's the ratio that makes the model work.
No. A class is everyone doing the same thing at the same intensity. Small group PT is structured programming, scaled to each person, coached individually, closer to private personal training than to a fitness class.
Yes, beginners are who this is built for. We start with movement standards, build confidence, then add load. Most members tell us they'd never have walked into a regular gym, and that's exactly why this works.
Yes, both, in every block. Strength is the foundation, conditioning is layered on, HYROX-style work is mixed in for capacity. It's a complete training programme rather than a single style of fitness.
Three to four sessions a week is the sweet spot for most members. Two will move the needle. Five gets you peak. Consistency matters more than volume, three good sessions every week beat six chaotic ones.
